"Hey!  How did you manage to learn my secret identity?  And how did you manage to hack into my private computer files?  Well, you caught me.  Since your last name isn't 'Osborn', 'Fisk', 'Brock' or 'Octavius', I assume you know how to keep a secret.  Let's just keep this between us.  Anyway, welcome to my private records.  I see you've already made yourself at home.  Sheesh.  Anyway, this section you've logged onto (or to be precise, hacked into, but I digress) is where I talk about all of the superheroes that I encountered during my past adventures as Spider-Man.  A lot of them remain some of my closest allies and are a big help to me in battle, especially whenever guys like Venom or Scorpion bust out of Ravencroft and try to destroy me.  Here are my comments about who these guys are, what they're capable of, and how much they've helped me time after time.  Oh, yeah.  And the moderator of this site tosses in his two cents about his opinion about my super-powered pals.  Want to know more?  Then just read on, Web-heads!"

FELICIA HARDY/THE BLACK CAT

NUMBER OF APPEARANCES: 10 (as the Black Cat)
SEASON FOUR - "Partners in Danger, Chapter III: The Black Cat", "Partners in Danger, Chapter IV: The Return of Kraven", "Partners in Danger, Chapter V: Partners", "Partners in Danger, Chapter VI: The Awakening", and "Partners in Danger, Chapter VII: The Vampire Queen"
SEASON FIVE - "The Wedding", "The Return of Hydro-Man" 2-parter, "Secret Wars, Chapter II: The Gauntlet of the Red Skull", and "Secret Wars, Chapter III: Doom"
SPIDEY'S TAKE: "I've never met anyone quite like the Black Cat.  I remember that, during the first time I met her, she actually started off as a thief.  It turned out she was actually working for the Kingpin, but she was only working for him so that she could free his captive, John Hardesky, who had given her super-powers with the same Super-Soldier formula that created Captain America.  The Cat and I teamed up and managed to get Hardesky free, even though we had to deal with the Kingpin, his goons, Doctor Octopus, and even S.H.I.E.L.D.  Hardesky was able to destroy the Super-Soldier formula before he got away, and I later bumped into the Black Cat when I encountered my old foe-turned-friend Kraven the Hunter.  At the time, I was grieving with the loss of Mary Jane, but Cat was able to convince me that it was Dr. Mariah Crawford, not Kraven, was the one we were really after and that she was suffering from a similar wonder drug that Kraven was exposed to.  Cat was able to help us give Crawford a partial antidote, but she didn't want to change back to normal and she ran off with Kraven instead.  It wasn't until Cat was abducted by Alistair Smythe that I realized how much I'd started to care about her, and even though I was forced to abduct the Scorpion for Smythe in exchange for Cat's freedom, I also wound up abducted so that Smythe's new boss, Silvermane. It turned out he wanted me so that he could drain off my youth and I'd be turned into an old man while he became a young man again.  When the Vulture crashed the party and I got free, Cat and I became partners and we teamed up to fight off Smythe, the Vulture, and the Scorpion.  After that, we managed to free Morbius from Kingpin's clutches and I managed to stop his henchman, Shocker.  But after Cat and I helped Morbius and Blade stop Blade's own mother Muriel, now a vampire, from turning people into vampires with the Neogenic Recombinator, the Cat decided to leave New York and join Blade and Morbius instead in their fight against vampires.  I met Cat a few more times after that, at my own wedding to Mary Jane, who I didn't know was actually a clone, and then Cat helped me again when Hydro-Man abducted the M.J. clone.  I later brought her back to help me in the Secret War, but after we defeated Doctor Doom and won the war, Cat went back to Earth to help Blade and Morbius with no memory of what happened.  I haven't seen the Cat since.  Of all the costumed heroes I've managed to meet, nobody's crossed my path as memorably as the Black Cat has."
MY TAKE: The Black Cat is one of my favorite character from the Spider-Man comics, but I didn't really care for Cat on this animated series.  Don't get me wrong.  I loved what was done with her alter-ego Felicia Hardy.  It was nice to see her as the wealthy love interest for our struggling-to-pay-the-rent hero, Peter Parker, and she had a very good part on this show.  Then, in season four, she finally, FINALLY became the Black Cat.  But alas, it was at the hands of the Kingpin.  He had his new lieutenant, Herbert Landon, improve the original Super-Soldier formula so that Felicia could actually CHANGE into the Black Cat, turning from the blonde, average physiqued Felicia into the white-haired, athletically-fit Cat.  The problem was, in her episodes after her two-part origin storyline, Black Cat just wasn't that interesting.  Sure, she played off of Spidey well when they were partners, but even then, that was only for three episodes.  Which is pretty unusual when you think about it, considering the fourth season was called "Partners in Danger".  To top it all off, in two of the three episodes where Cat and Spidey were partners, that's when Morbius came back and so did Felicia's feelings for Michael.  Just when Spidey and Cat were falling for each other, BAM, Morbius comes back and Black Cat quits being Spidey's partner to help him stop vampires with Blade.  WHAT?!?  Cat's return in season five was even worse, when she helped Spidey fight off the Green Goblin and his Goblin robots he got from Alistair Smythe, appeared for the infamous "Return of Hydro-Man" two-part atrocity, and then she was even worse when she appeared in the second and third parts of the "Secret Wars" storyline.  Black Cat was obnoxious, surprisingly arrogant to the original Super-Soldier himself Captain America, and snapped at Spider-Man when he brought her to the alien planet to help them win a war.  Yeah, I know she was helping Blade and Morbius when Spidey suddenly beamed her to the alien planet to help out.  While it's understandable that Black Cat doesn't want to suddenly be taken away from her friends during a fight with vampires, it doesn't excuse the fact Spidey brought her there to help in a war for the fate of an entire planet!  Sheesh.  Curiously, one aspect I would've loved to have seen was having Hobgoblin return in season four and Spider-Man would've helped Black Cat fight him off.  Considering that Jason Macendale, Hobgoblin's alter-ego, dated Felicia only for her wealth and threatened her life, I would've been curious to see how Black Cat would've reacted in a rematch with her villainous ex-fiance.  Sadly, we never got to see Black Cat and Hobgoblin face-off, and I think it's a wasted opportunity.  In closing, Black Cat should've gotten better treatment on this show.  Her origin story was fine, but a rushed partnership, occasional bad characterization and an unnecessary return for Morbius causes Black Cat's later appearances leaving me wanting more, as well as better-written stories done with the character.  Black Cat was fine on this show, but when she was just Felicia Hardy, they did an even better job.

STEVE ROGERS/CAPTAIN AMERICA

NUMBER OF APPEARANCES: 7
SEASON FOUR - "Partners in Danger, Chapter II: The Cat"
SEASON FIVE - "Six Forgotten Warriors, Chapter III: Secrets of the Six", "Six Forgotten Warriors, Chapter IV: The Six Fight Again", "Six Forgotten Warriors, Chapter V: The Price of Heroism", the "Secret Wars" 3-parter
[NOTE: Captain America speaks once in "Partners in Danger, Chapter II: The Cat" by an unknown, uncredited voice actor]
SPIDEY'S TAKE: "In this day and age, there are plenty of do-gooders in colorful underoos that head out to protect the world from supervillains.  But back in the days of World War II, the world was introduced to its very first superhero -- Captain America!  Private Rogers volunteered to be a part of the top secret Super Soldier program for the government that transformed him from scrawny soldier to the Sentinel of Liberty that helped fight Nazis and the world's first super-villain, the Red Skull.  Captain America led the now-forgotten band of superheroes, the American Six, to stop the greatest threats the war had ever seen, but it was in stopping the Red Skull's Doomsday device that led to Cap and the Skull both being trapped in an energy vortex.  When I teamed up with the American Six to stop the Kingpin and the Insidious Six, we all ended up captured by the Chameleon, who betrayed the Six, and Kragov, the Red Skull's son.  While Kragov had his father released from the vortex by its inventor Dr. Gretzek, Gretzek also released Captain America from the vortex, who helped us to battle the Red Skull, the Chameleon, and Kragov, who had been transformed into the villainous Electro.  While good would ultimately triumph over evil, Cap ended up sacrificing himself by going into the vortex with the Red Skull.  In the aftermath, the Red Skull's hideout was destroyed, taking the vortex with it.  I would end up recruiting and leading Captain America later as one of the heroes to stop the five super villains that the Beyonder gathered for his Secret War.  After the war, though, the Beyonder had to send Cap and the Skull back into the vortex in order for everything to set things back as they were and none of the heroes or villains would even remember the war.  Cap may be in stasis for now, but I have a feeling I haven't seen the last of Captain America.
MY TAKE: Captain America is one of my favorite super heroes in all of comics, which is why this take on Captain America was so disappointing.  While there is nothing particularly wrong with the characterization of Captain America himself, there is so much about this series that they get wrong about the character, from the odd muted colors of his patriotic red-white-and-blue uniform to his debut in the series' timeline.  First, in regards to the suit, can someone please explain to me who thought have an aqua blue tinge and dull red to Captain America's iconic costume was a good idea?  His suit looks less like the Sentinel of Liberty and more like a cheap Halloween costume.  The buckle isn't even painted correctly and the "scales" look of the chain-mail suit is barely there, which makes the look even more jarring.  Second, while Captain America is rightfully portrayed as a World War II hero who is also a man out of time, he is also a hero without any major character development and the writing of the episodes he's in is underwhelming at best.  Captain America's big role in the five "Six Forgotten Warriors" episodes is to appear in flashback in part three, get released from the Red Skull's energy vortex to throw Red Skull aside like a rag doll and to beat up the Skull's army of robots in part four, and have minimal scenes reacting to being in a new time period and giving advice to Spider-Man twice before again trapping himself and Red Skull in limbo.  So we get to see Captain America's big return just so he can get trapped again, and right when the heroes need him the most against Electro and his robot army?  Captain America's "sacrifice" by going back into the energy vortex with the Red Skull instead comes across as forced, unnecessary and incredibly stupid on Cap's part.  Then there's Captain America's role to play in the three "Secret Wars" episodes later in season five.  Captain America spends most of his time in part one dodging enemies, being generally ineffective in battle against stronger opponents and being saved by Spider-Man and Iron Man by the giant worms.  In part two, he's bickering with Spider-Man about his leadership choices, finds out Black Cat's origin has ties with his own and is impressed and mildly attracted to her, and Cap once again, and VERY briefly, fights the Red Skull.  In part three, Cap gets so little to do, that it's not even really worth mentioning.  Considering that Captain America gets sent back to limbo with his enemy the Red Skull after the heroes win, what was the point of having Cap around if he's going to be discarded back to the vortex?  Why is Captain America's role so ineffective in these episodes when he is a skilled tactician and his fighting skills rival that of Marvel's best hand-to-hand fighters like the X-Men's Wolverine?  Finally, and most insultingly, there is the timeline of the character.  In the series' first episode way back in season one, "Night of the Lizard", Spider-Man mentions that he's never seen the Avengers being reduced to going into the sewers.  In season five, Captain America is just now released from stasis from the vortex to help Spider-Man for an episode and a half worth of screen time, which means that the Avengers haven't even had Captain America on their side at all!  When Cap again is trapped in limbo, the vortex machine that he and the Red Skull get trapped in is promptly destroyed, along with the Skull's entire hideout, by the American Six.  So does this mean that Cap never gets out of limbo?  Does he ever get out after the series finale?  If so, how?  Why?  And who would get Captain America out?  Do the Avengers somehow free Captain America?  And if they do get Captain America out, why would they?  Since the timeline of the various 1990s animated series do not match up very well and the "Avengers: United They Stand" animated series doesn't follow the timeline of any of the 90's Marvel animated series, Captain America likely shares the same fate as Venom, Carnage, the original Green Goblin and the real Mary Jane Watson -- banished off of Earth by a MacGuffin high-tech device.  And that really, really stinks.  Like several wonderful characters on this animated series, Captain America deserved better treatment.

MICHAEL MORBIUS/MORBIUS, THE LIVING VAMPIRE

NUMBER OF APPEARANCES: 8 (as a vampire)
SEASON TWO - "Neogenic Nightmare, Chapter VI: Morbius", "Neogenic Nightmare, Chapter VII: Enter the Punisher", "Neogenic Nightmare, Chapter VIII: Duel of the Hunters", "Neogenic Nightmare, Chapter IV: Blade the Vampire Hunter" and "Neogenic Nightmare, Chapter X: The Immortal Vampire"
CHAPTER FOUR: "Partners in Danger, Chapter VI: The Awakening" and "Partners in Danger, Chapter VII: The Vampire Queen"
CHAPTER FIVE: "Secret Wars, Chapter II: Gauntlet of the Red Skull"
KINGPIN'S TAKE: "I knew Michael Morbius when he was just a fellow classmate at Empire State University. Originally, we were rivals for the position of Dr. Connors' lab assistant if we managed to come up with the most original neogenics experiment, as well as rivals for the attention of Felicia Hardy. I had no idea that his quest would lead him to steal a vial of my own radioactive blood from my locker and experiment with it. Michael's experimenting resulted in having a bat feed off the blood when it was bombarded by a ray from the Neogenic Recombinator and then it bit Michael, turning him into a living vampire. I fought with Michael a couple of times, even with Blade the Vampire Hunter, until another blast from the Recombinator mutated him further into a vampire bat creature and he fled to a cave. He was eventually discovered, brought back to E.S.U., and met my then-partner Black Cat. Shortly after, he was abducted by the Kingpin's men, Herbert Landon and the Shocker, so that he could be experimented on. Morbius was reverted back from his bat form to his vampiric self, and he became an ally when he helped the Cat and I stop Landon. He even helped Blade, Black Cat and I stop Blade's own mother, now a vampire, from turning the people of New York into vampires with the Neogenic Recombinator. After that fight, Black Cat decided to quit being partners and she went with Morbius and Blade in their quest to stop vampires. I haven't seen Michael since, but I have a feeling we could meet again, someday soon."
MY TAKE: Eight episodes.  That's how much attention that was given to Michael Morbius in his Living Vampire form.  Eight.  That means he was in MORE episodes than both Green Goblins, more than Venom, more than Carnage.  And I still can't get over it.  Morbius's introduction in season two was okay, as Peter's classmate rival and Felicia's boyfriend.  But he just got too many episodes devoted to him. In season two alone, he's in FIVE episodes, back to back.  The first time, "Chapter VI: Morbius", was fine, because it was his debut as the Living Vampire.  Next, we see him briefly confront a six-armed Spidey in "Chapter VII: Enter the Punisher" and then briefly meet the Man-Spider in "Chapter VIII: Duel of the Hunters".  But then we got the two-part storyline with Blade, and I just wished Morbius would just go away.  He finally did in "Chapter X: The Living Vampire", where he turned into a bat monster and fled to hibernate in a cave.  Whatever.  I was just glad to see him out of there.  But then he came back in season four for two more, totally unnecessary episodes.  I do admit that I loved seeing Morbius meet with Black Cat in "Chapter VI: The Awakening", where she unmasked in front of him and admitted she still loved Michael.  But did we REALLY need to see him come back?  Really?  When so many villains and guest heroes got so little character development and were forgotten in future episodes or reappearing in lackluster episodes in later seasons, Morbius got a pretty good amount of focus.  Heck, he even made a cameo in the second part of the "Secret Wars" storyline alongside Black Cat and Blade.  Guest heroes like The Mighty Thor, The Incredible Hulk, and the full X-Men team were denied from appearing in "Secret Wars", but we could see MORBIUS in "Secret Wars"?!?  Sure, those guys couldn't appear due to budgetary reasons and Hulk's show on rival network UPN, but come on!  Also, what was with Morbius's design?  I mean, look at his face when he's a normal guy.  When he was NORMAL, he looks like a 40 something guy in class, with the lines across the top of his head and weirdly-drawn cheek lines.  It's like watching any teen movie where you see a 17 year old high school student being played by a 29 year old actor.  It just doesn't look right.  Don't get me wrong, Morbius is a cool character and I'm glad he appeared on this show.  But after a while, you really got tired of seeing him pop up so many times.  I'm already sick of typing his name so many times.  I'm glad that John Semper liked the guy and got to devote a lot of episodes to him, but in my opinion, I just wish he hadn't been used so much on this show.

NICK FURY

NUMBER OF APPEARANCES: 6
SEASON ONE - "Day of the Chameleon"
SEASON FOUR - "Partners in Danger, Chapter II: The Cat" and "Partners in Danger, Chapter III: The Black Cat"
SEASON FIVE - "Six Forgotten Warriors, Chapter I", "Six Forgotten Warriors, Chapter III: Secrets of the Six", and "Six Forgotten Warriors, Chapter V: The Price of Heroism"
SPIDEY'S TAKE: "Nick Fury was the very first hero I'd ever come across.  The head of the organization S.H.I.E.L.D., a headquarters that just happens to be located cloaked in orbit over New York, Fury was a war hero who now commands some of the best government agents in the world to stop the most serious threats.  I actually first saw Fury as plain old Peter Parker, spying on his conversation with my lovable, gruff boss J. Jonah Jameson, when the Chameleon arrived in New York to infiltrate old Jonah's party.  I didn't actually meet him as Spider-Man until I had stopped the Chameleon from committing an assassination, when he was disguised as Peter Parker!  He actually gave me a thumb's up and thanked me for my help, and when you're as disliked by the people of New York as your friendly neighborhood wall-crawler, getting a 'thank you' is a pretty big deal and nice change of pace.  I'd bump into Fury later a few more times after, like when I went to S.H.I.E.L.D. to ask him about Felicia's father (and thief) the Cat, and then again when the Insidious Six attacked his fancy-schmancy flying headquarters to break out the Chameleon.  I haven't seen him since Electro destroyed S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters and all of its agents had to evacuate, but if I know Nick Fury, I'm sure he'll be back in a bigger, better flying headquarters and commanding his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to keep the world safe soon enough."
MY TAKE: Nick Fury was one of those guest heroes that you're not really sure why you're watching him in a Spider-Man cartoon.  I mean, he's nowhere near as close friends with Spidey as the Human Torch and Daredevil, and whenever they did meet, they didn't really do a whole lot together.  I didn't get as a kid why Fury had to appear in as many episodes as he did, and now, as an adult, I still kind of don't.  Is it just to have him on a Spider-Man cartoon for the first time?  Is it to show how cool the flying S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters was?  (And it actually IS very cool, it was one of the show's best locations.)  Whatever.  Fury's there, his agents are there, his flying fortress in the sky is there, and it's all just for fun.  But when Fury popped up in season five, I didn't really like what they did with him and S.H.I.E.L.D.  Having Electro destroy the headquarters just to show how powerful he was was pretty stupid and they made Fury look like an idiot in the process.  Never mind that they fire energy lasers at Electro in an attempt to stop him, because they know it'll work since ELECTRO CONTROLS ALL ENERGY AND ELECTRICITY, but he shuts down their power supply, takes down their base and forces everyone to evacuate.  While we see people leave via parachute like Fury, not one mention of the prisoners inside being evacuated is given, LIKE FELICIA'S FATHER, WHO IS A CAPTIVE ON-BOARD.  Was he taken out?  Did he die in the explosions?  Weird.  It's also pretty unintentionally comical to see a flying headquarters float down into the river with enormous parachutes sticking out of it from all directions while blowing up from the inside.  After Fury evacuates, he's never seen or heard from again.  Look, if you're going to use Nick Fury, do something interesting with him.  Unfortunately, this show just didn't succeed at doing that.

FRANK CASTLE/THE PUNISHER

NUMBER OF APPEARANCES: 3
SEASON TWO - "Neogenic Nightmare, Chapter VII: Enter the Punisher" and "Neogenic Nightmare, Chapter VIII: Duel of the Hunters"
SEASON FIVE - "Partners in Danger, Chapter VIII: The Return of the Green Goblin"
SPIDEY'S TAKE: "Of all of the 'heroes' I have met, the one I wouldn't want watching my back would be the Punisher -- since he'd probably put a knife (or several rounds of ammo) into it!  Frank Castle used to be a lawman who protected the innocent.  But when he lost his family due to a mob attack, Castle decided that a cemetery was a more appropriate place to put the bad guys in instead of a jail cell!  Back when I was dealing with my genetic mutation disease and had grown four extra arms, I first ran into the Punisher when he thought that I was behind the attacks of Morbius the Living Vampire and that I had kidnapped college student Peter Parker.  For a sharp-shooter, Castle sure did miss the mark on that one!  I'd managed to avoid old Bone-head for a while when I was trying to track down Michael Morbius, but after another run-in with the Punisher, I mutated into the Man-Spider and ran amok in New York!  I was eventually returned to human form by the combined efforts of my friend Dr. Mariah Crawford, her George of the Jungle wannabe boyfriend Kraven the Hunter and the Punisher.  The Punisher was talked out of disentegrating me so that Crawford could give me her serum and Kraven explained that I wasn't the one behind the attacks that Morbius had caused.  Several months later, I'd have to deal with the Punisher again when he offered to help Anna Watson find Mary Jane Watson.  When my best friend Harry Osborn became the Green Goblin and I went out to find him, the Punisher followed me to one of the Green Goblin's hideouts and wanted to know my connection to Spider-Man and the Green Goblin.  His theory was that I was the Green Goblin and that I had kidnapped my girlfriend Mary Jane!  (I'd hate to see this guy's powers of deduction in action whenever he plays board games like "Guess Who?" or "Clue".)  Shortly after being proven wrong, the Punisher and I encountered Harry, as the Goblin.  I was able to knock Harry off his glider and we fell into the river, where he was washed up onto shore.  Punisher brought Harry back to my house as his capture and we ended up witnessing Mary Jane return to my home (or so we all thought at the time).  After he returned Mary Jane to her aunt Anna, the Punisher left and I have not seen him since.  Then again, I'm not exactly counting down the days until we meet again, either."
MY TAKE: The Punisher is actually one of the better represented guest anti-heroes on this show and, since the Punisher actually made his comic book debut in a Spider-Man comic, it makes his role here work a lot better than some of this series' other guest heroes like Doctor Strange.  The Punisher can be seen helping the innocent, such as saving a kidnapped woman from a gang of thugs, and he can be shown as the vigilante that fans know and love by being shown using weapons with lethal force.  Sure, nobody ever died (it IS a Saturday morning cartoon for children, after all), but it was implied that the Punisher has been known for taking a life, or fifty, in his crusade to punish the guilty.  Voice actor does an excellent job with his portrayal of the Punisher and his scenes with his partner Microchip (voiced by Robert Axelrod, best known to 90's kids as the voice of Lord Zedd himself from "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers"!) are always enjoyable to watch.  Keeping the Punisher's origin intact with losing his family by gunfire, even if it's never actually said or shown, also works well in keeping with the character's creation.  That said, there are a few cons to the Punisher being on this show, though.  Like Captain America, the aqua-blue tint on the Punisher's costume is just jarring to look at and doesn't look very well on-screen.  Since it's usually blocked by the character's trench coat, however, it isn't entirely bad.  While the Punisher's two appearances in season two work exceptionally well, his role in season four's "The Return of the Green Goblin" is hit-and-miss.  For his introduction, the Punisher is visiting his wife's grave in a cemetery and shortly after bumps into Anna Watson at her husband's grave.  Anna Watson takes the Punisher back to her home, skull uniform and all, to have tea, discuss her niece's disappearance and blame it all on Peter Parker.  It's one thing for Anna to not like Peter, but to blab it all to a stranger in a blue uniform with a giant skull on his chest and with a van filled with rifles, bazookas and rocket launchers is grossly stupid and cruel on her part.  Since the Punisher is known to kill those who would hurt innocent people, if Peter was a normal guy and had been killed by the Punisher, it would've been Anna's fault.  The Punisher's encounter with Peter at one of the Goblin's hideout plays out well enough and it's amusing to see Punisher believe that Peter could be the Green Goblin.  But the Punisher doesn't actually get much to do in terms of being a part of the battle.  Other than shoot missiles, fire a few laser blasts at the Green Goblin and blow up part of OsCorp with a detonator pack, the Punisher spends most of his time on-screen driving in his van and yelling at Peter.  His role in the final battle, if you can call it that, doesn't work so well either.  The Punisher sends a missile at the Green Goblin, only for the Goblin to blow up the wheels of his van and then destroy said van with his own Goblin missiles.  For a guy armed with so many weapons, he's taken out of the fight a little too easily.  Don't tell me he didn't have a weapon (or twenty) under that coat after he gets out of his van either!  Speaking of which, the Punisher's last scene on the series is when he's inside his van making a journal entry about what just happened.  Um... exactly HOW did the Punisher get to Anna Watson's house ahead of Peter if his van was destroyed?  Did his buddy Microchip send him a new battle van to his location shortly after the old one was destroyed?  We couldn't have gotten a quick line on-screen of the Punisher asking Microchip to send a replacement van to pick them up?  Nevertheless, the Punisher's role on this animated series works pretty well overall and he's one of the few guest heroes you wanted to see more of.
